Nothing is done to your child that has not been explained to you both first.
Your child sees the room, the chair and the people before anyone counts a tooth.
Very young children are examined knee to knee, with you holding them.
Bottles, thumbs, brushing, fluoride. The visit exists as much for you as for them.

Orthodontics at Elite
Elite is a pediatric dental practice and an orthodontic practice in one office on Berdan Avenue, so a growing smile keeps one address.
Each check-up looks at how the bite is developing. If it needs an orthodontist’s opinion, the x-rays are already in the chart down the hall.
When the orthodontic check around age seven comes up, it happens in the same building, with a front desk your child already knows.

Your child looks around, sits with you, and we count teeth. Nothing is done that has not been explained first.
Yes, for as long as you want to be. Very young children are examined on your lap.
Yes. They hold space for the adult teeth, and an abscess in a baby tooth can damage the adult tooth forming above it.
Ask at the visit. It is the single most common question, and a two-minute demonstration on your own child is worth more than any leaflet.
